Hi everyone,

I recently applied for GitHub Education benefits, but my application was not approved due to issues verifying my academic status.

I would appreciate your assistance in understanding how I can provide acceptable documentation.

I am currently employed as an Assistant Professor at Korea Polytechnic University (Korea Polytechnics). The official documents available to me are:

1. Certificate of Work Experience (English)
2. Certificate of Employment (Korean)
3. Official Staff Identification Card

These documents clearly show:

• My full name
• My institution (Korea Polytechnic)
• My position (Assistant Professor)
• My employment status

I have also updated my GitHub profile, enabled two-factor authentication, and completed my billing information using my legal name.

Could you please confirm whether these documents are sufficient for verification, or advise me on any additional information or document format that would be acceptable?

For GitHub Education verification, the documents you listed (Certificate of Work Experience, Certificate of Employment, and Staff ID card) clearly show your name, institution, position, and employment status. These should normally be acceptable.

If your application was rejected, the best next step is:

1. Submit the Certificate of Employment (preferably in English if possible).
2. Make sure the document is official, recent, and issued by your institution.
