I agree this would be a really useful feature, especially for projects that need a GUI or desktop workflow. Right now the closest option is using A native “Open in Desktop Codespace” option could help us with:

It would be nice if there were a built in one click option to open a repo in a preconfigured Codespace with a desktop environment without having to create a
