Describe the bug
When updating VSCodium on Windows 11 (I know, I know... I didn't get to choose), I am met with a very obscure error: Internal error: EndOffset range exceeded. I'd argue it is primarily the job of windows to give me an error that is at least a bit meaningful, or you know maybe not change error types and names every three years so at least I can google them and have a decent chance of finding an answer, but I thought to also let the VSCodium devs know that this occurs.
Please confirm that this problem is VSCodium-specific
Please confirm that the issue/resolution isn't already documented
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to Settings
- Click on "Check for updates"
- See error
Expected behavior
VSCodium updates
