I'm at a loss, everything is setup right its been not able to connect for 10 hours now. When all my other same situations happened mostly instantly. What do i do?

10 hours is still within normal DNS propagation time depending on your registrar and TTL settings. In many cases it can take up to 24–48 hours globally.

A few things worth double checking:

• Make sure your nameservers at the registrar match exactly your DNS provider
• Try checking propagation using tools like “dnschecker.org” to see if it’s global or just local cache
• Clear local DNS cache / try different network (mobile hotspot, etc.)
• Verify there are no conflicting A/CNAME records

In most cases like this, the issue is either propagation delay or cached DNS, not misconfiguration.

If everything is truly correct, I’d just give it a bit more time and recheck after a few hours.

Even with "perfect" DNS settings, propagation can stall. 10 hours is normal but frustrating.

Quick fixes to try now:

1. TTL check: If your TTL was set high before the change, like 86400, caches will hold old records for 24h. Lower it to 300 for future changes.
2. Flush DNS locally: ipconfig /flushdns on Windows or sudo dscacheutil -flushcache on Mac, then test on mobile data.
3. Test with dig/nslookup: Run dig yourdomain.com @8.8.8.8 to check

At this point, your DNS setup looks correct since it is resolving globally, so this is no longer a DNS propagation issue.

The “DNS check unsuccessful” message in GitHub Pages usually means GitHub is still unable to fully validate and bind the custom domain to the repository.

Even though everything may look correct, this can happen due to:

GitHub still re-checking domain configuration internally
A small mismatch in the Pages custom domain setting
Temporary verification delay on GitHub’s side

Since your DNS records (A + CNAME) are already correct, there is nothing further you need to change on your side right now.

The best next step is simply:

Wait for GitHub’s verification to complete, and/or
Let the support team review the domain binding state directly (which you already did)

At this stage, no additional DNS or local configuration changes are needed unless GitHub support reports a specific issue.

There’s nothing else you need to change or troubleshoot no DNS, no settings, nothing on your end.
